Join Operation BBQ Relief (OBR) for our annual Heroes Golf Classic, where every swing supports the real champions—our nation’s heroes. You’ll tee off on one of Kansas City’s finest courses, enjoy award-winning BBQ from top pitmasters, and sip perfectly paired drinks along the way.
This isn’t just a golf tournament—it’s a way to give back to veterans, first responders, and their families through OBR’s life-changing programs, including Camp OBR.
Come hungry, bring your best golf game, and get ready for an amazing day filled with epic food, great drinks, and the chance to make a real difference for the heroes who serve and sacrifice for us every day.

The 18-hole championship course is accompanied by a 21,000-square-foot clubhouse including full men’s and ladies’ locker rooms, fine dining, game room, and two Trackman golf simulators in the Simulator Lounge.
This natural, classic Nicklaus-designed golf course blends harmoniously with its surroundings. The seasoned golfer, as well as the enthusiastic novice, thoroughly enjoys playing this challenging, fair and aesthetically pleasing golf course.
The clubhouse at the Nicklaus Golf Club is truly one of the most spectacular new golf and social activity centers in the Overland Park area. The building’s unique design of stone columns, pilasters and expansive windows presents the traditional quality of a large estate home. Accented by chimneys, dormers and a beautiful clock tower, the clubhouse offers an array of social activities.
